Health as a Learning Journey
Health is a subjective outcome of our personal choices and lifestyles, our genetics, our environment, our emotional well-being, and our medical care. When something with our health goes wrong, sometimes a specific procedure or medicine will fix the problem.
More often, however, there is an art to fixing the problem. Figuring out what to do often means that, together with our doctors, we “experiment” with a series of treatments and lifestyle changes to see what works best to meet our goals. These experiments are part of what we call a Learning Journey. Here we will share tips for engaging successfully in this journey.
